3025 Interdimensional Press Union

Across the last millennium, misinformation has pushed entire realities toward collapse. Civilizations have risen and fallen based on false broadcasts, distorted archives, and manufactured narratives. The Grand Observers have decided that the multiverse can no longer afford this chaos.

To restore order, they have summoned the greatest investigators, reporters, and analysts from across existence. Their mission is to design the Interdimensional Press Union (IPU), a body that will protect accuracy, transparency, and integrity across every timeline. However, the IPU does not yet exist. Delegates must build its official code from the ground up.

During the first half of committee, delegates will work in a Non-traditional General Assembly structure to create Public Directives that define the ethics and responsibilities (or lack thereof) for interdimensional journalism. Once this framework is set, the committee shifts into a Press Corps simulation. Delegates must follow the rules they created while producing investigative reports, efficiency analyses, and a final feature article for the Interdimensional Efficiency Forum. The IEF will evaluate how effectively delegates in other committees across dimensions (other MICSUN committees) understand procedure, engage in debate, and avoid gaps in proposed solutions.
