Lover’s Quarrel

In 2027, away in paradise, the Love Island villa has just opened its doors to welcome in new islanders. Expecting a new high of record-breaking viewership, Peacock has gone all-in on creating their craziest season of Love Island USA to date. The start of the season proved itself to have more drama, scandal, and gossip than the previous 8 seasons combined. The challenges reached a new level of insanity and the viewers are hooked. With such a loyal following, producers are eager for this landmark season.

While the islanders are away in the tropical paradise of Fiji, US citizens are sat on their couches waiting for the nightly episode. Without any prior warning, a meteor hits the country right in Texas, causing a full frenzy of chaos to erupt. The government goes into shutdown, all major stores close temporarily, and citizens are isolated in their homes out of fear. The country goes into an apocalypse due to the massive disaster.

During filming, the islanders have no idea what has happened until producers spread the news. Now they all have to discuss how to move forward with the season when the USA has completely shut down. In this committee delegates will have to navigate how to continue through this season of love amidst the turmoil of an apocalypse. Islanders, producers, and executives will all have equal input in what strategies to employ as they are now stranded in the villa.
