ABOUT THE COMMITTEE
In a city full of mayhem within the world of Spider-Man, this committee tackles the various dilemmas and threats that have thrown Queens into disarray. A series of anomalies and odd disappearances have been disturbing the peace in Brooklyn. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D are not sure how to approach this issue yet and the people are becoming anxious throughout the streets. Heroes throughout the city, and from other distant places, have come together to figure out who is behind the madness, but they may be facing something bigger than they have ever faced before. In this committee, delegates will problem-solve to defeat this evil before it not only destroys the city, but the rest of the world with it.CRISIS DIRECTOR
AMErIE CUMMINGS
Amerie Cummings (she/her) is a first-year at the University of Miami, majoring in Neuroscience, and minoring in Biochemistry and Political Science. She has been in Model UN since her junior year of high school and has continued to be part of it now that she is in college. Amerie also has interests in crocheting, reading, and just about every genre of music.
At MICSUN XIV, she is enthusiastic to be a part of the team for the first time as Crisis Director for “Spider-Man Heroes’ League”. Amerie has had immense interest in the Marvel Universe since she was younger and Spider-Man is one of her favorite heroes so she hopes to bring a lot of creativity to the committee. She hopes to see delegates with equal excitement and creative thinking as they solve the issues arising in New York and beyond.
